What is this?
Since there is a decent amount of student bloggers at Northside College Prep, some of us have decided to form a blogging club. This is all new so all comments and questions are very helpful. This blog will serve as our club's official website; later we can link it to the Northside Homepage under Student Clubs.
When will we meet? Where will we meet? & who will be our sponsor?
Most likely well be meeting on Tuesdays biweekly. I'm trying to get Mr. Solin to be our sponsor (wish me luck). He's a computer scientist and a really awesome person too, so hopefully he says yes. If he became our sponsor, we would most likely meet in his room (we want a computer lab with a projector for sure). Probably for an hour or maybe an hour and a half, we will be meeting.
What exactly are we going to do at the club meetings?
What I have in mind and what others have suggested so far is: we share idea's on how to generate traffic, share HTML layout designs, and Tips and Tricks. There are specific websites and widgets every bloggers should know about like Google Reader and Adsense, we could introduce that to everyone. We could have professional bloggers come in and give speeches, simple fun events! I can teach you guys what I know, you can teach me what you know, that's the idea. I think it would be cool to have an informational event on what exactly is blogging, how it differs from websites and all that specs for people who are aliens to this new phenomenon. And the obvious, we can take some time off and just blog!
Cost?
We should be virtually free. If anything, we should make profit from Adsense and our blogs! I think it would be cool to have shirts at the end of the year, which would be pretty cheap, under ten dollars probably.
Commitment?
This isn't a get down and dirty, work your butt off club, just come and have fun. Hopefully you learn some cool blogging tricks but yea rule number one: enjoy.

If you guys give me links to your blogs (for those of you who already blog, I'll link it on here and we can get started with this little community of bloggers we have. P.S: My name is Faique, Me and Nelson will be your admins for the first year until we hold elections and decide all that junk. This is like a provisional goveronment, it will be whatever we want it to be, so speak up! For example, the name, we can easily change it. I dont think everyone likes it.
